Check out the Citroen Metropolis Concept, which is a very large luxury saloon vehicle. The Metropolis is bigger than a long-wheelbase S-class, a A8 L at 5.3m long, and as wide as a Maybach 62, at two metres. It’s the first car to be styled and developed by the PSA Group’s Shanghai design studio and it completely builds on the themes established by the Hypnos concept, using a full-width Citroën double chevron in the grille, the same upright intakes ahead of the front wheels and even near-identical door mirrors. The complex turbine-style wheels are 21-inchers, with 265/35 tyres. (more…)
Designer Mauro Lecchi, who is also the designer of the Lamborghini Levo, comes with this impressive design of the Lamborghini Yacht, which has a bar, entertainment center and two bedrooms.
Dubbed Lamborghini yacht, the design comes from the analysis of Lamborghini car and is as exotic and luxurious as the car itself. The yacht has big intakes, and starting from the Reventon’s side view, the designer changed the intake behind the door in a huge window, to characterize the boat with a single large element.
As the yacht is merely a design, it’s assumed characteristics have a Hull length 15m, Hull width4 m, and Height 3.8m. In order to reduce weight, the lamination provides to use fiber Kevlar/carbon.

The Stirling Moss Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR is the almighty super car of today! Reaching 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds, catches a top speed of 217 mph and comes with a price tag of a million dollars with only 75 will being produced.
SLR stands for “Sport, Leicht, Rennsport†(sport, light, racing), and the cars produced were the result of a partnership between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive. Their goal was to build 3,500 SLRs over a span of seven years, with an annual production of 500 cars. The Stirling Moss is the final in the series.
The most significant distinction though, is the lack of windshield and roof. This is open-concept to the extreme. Can you imagine the rush of driving this car at top speeds? Smashing into a bug at 200+ mph could cause some serious damage!
This Lamborghini Levo Concept by Mauro Lecchi, was created by using simple surfaces and realistic proportions. The car was based on the Murcielago package, respecting characteristic guidelines of the Gallardo and the Reventon. Project developed during the Master in Transportation Design at Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milano, under the guidance of Filippo Perini and Wolfgang Egger.

General Motors has teamed up with Segway to develop a a trio of electric “urban mobility vehicles“. They’re called Electric Networked Vehicles, EN-V, which were designed for cities that have high levels of traffic and are all based on the Segway’s balanced platform with a carbon-fiber shell.
The concept vehicle provides an ideal solution for urban mobility that enables future driving to be free from petroleum and emissions, free from congestion and accidents, and more fun and fashionable than ever before. The EN-V pods can run for 25 miles on a charge and reach top speeds of 25 mph. The pods also has “dynamic stabilization technology”, so it can balance on two wheels. The concept cars are designed for Shanghai traffic, and will be shown off at Shanghai’s World Expo in May.
